Here are some projects I'd love help with:
I do all of this stuff myself, but that doesn't make much sense. I'm doing some work now to make Roppers more effectively open source. Any work you do you will receive full credit for.
1. Write a webscraper for Thinkific that pulls all the content from one of these courses into a format that mirrors https://github.com/hoppersroppers/fundamentals. This will allow me to more easily receive support from the community to improve the material.
2. Low priority: Write a script that will build/update a Thinkific course with the contents of a git repo matching the above format. This will be some sort of nightmare Selenium script, but I think it is doable.
3. Make a custom Roppers branded buildroot. This would include manpages and netcat, along with a decent sized directory structure for students to play around with. The buildroot would live here. https://www.hoppersroppers.org/shell/.
4. As part of the Teacher's Guides Roppers is working on, I need to make formal Answer Keys for assignments, as well as End of Chapter Assessments and study guides. I haven't done them yet, but I should have... If you have old notes, build them into a git repo matching the course structure and people can start using them.
Once these tasks are completed, there is a great deal of work to be done with the updated git repos to make the material more accessible. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in doing this.
To your students!
I want you to teach your students this material! I'm working on the teacher's guides right now, but teach this material to your classroom, your club, your friends, whoever. This is an excellent curriculum and I am happy to provide support to anyone who uses this. Email me at email@example.com if you are interested in this.
All material on this site is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial ShareAlike license.
The best way to pull this content is from the Gitbook located at hoppersroppers.org/fundamentals/.
I run this site in my free time as a one-man-band. Appreciate any help supporting this mission so that I don't have to use my own money to pay for the various costs. All the courses here are free and will be free forever, but your donations help make this project slightly less expensive for me.

I am very interested in finding corporate sponsorship so that we can continue to provide high quality training for free. I am open to whatever would help your organization; from banners on the site or in the course, adding content or videos, to basically anything else.
Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
